Mission Statement The BFBC's
mission is to improve neighborhood within the immediate
vicinity of USF. To achieve this purpose we directly
improve the neighborhood through community service
projects, advocate for the residents of the University
area at local and state governments, and work with the
Bulls Country campaign to promote a sense of community
through school spirit. We work with various partners,
including the University Area Development Corporation,
Volunteer USF, USF School of Social Work Prodigy
Cultural Arts Program, University Area Partnership and
more. Together, we improve this neighborhood, our
neighborhood, BULLS COUNTRY for students and
non-students alike.

What is Bull Country? The
following was taken directly from the USF web site here.
Bulls Country is designed
to increase school spirit and awareness of USF in the
neighborhoods surrounding the University. The concept of
Bulls Country is seen as a state of mind as much as an
actual geographic area. Organizers hope to increase the
University's profile and "visibility" in surrounding
areas so visitors and residents alike will know they are
in or near a "College Town." Escalated school spirit,
visible Bull Pride, and more support for University
programs are the natural benefits and results of Bulls
Country.
